Dear Jeff,
Milton’s Moments is a truly heart wrenching and inspirational story. We are all truly blessed to be living and enjoying this journey of life. Giving is the true foundation of living. I encourage everyone to read this book and take a piece of Milton’s philosophies with them! The world will turn into a true heaven. Warm personal regards.

“Jeff,
I received Milton’s Moment just in time. My brother had to go out of town for several days and I had my 2 nephews age 4 and 6. I read the book first and really enjoyed it. The true test would be the boys. I told them I had a special story to tell them before bed, and I kept telling them that all day long (hoping they would want to go to bed early to hear the story).
They kept asking me all day long about Dr. Jeff and the skunk, and I told them they would have to wait until bedtime. Well…they loved the story and the fact that the skunk came back to help Dr. Jeff. It kept them interested and wanting to turn the page to see the new pictures and see what happened next! Congratulations on the book and best of luck!"

"Hi Jeff,
Just wanted to tell you that I have been doing Milton with some of my preschoolers lately and they love it. I act out trying to get Milton out of the pool with the rake thing and the skunk falling off. I wish I taped this one little boy. It's the one I had my pic taken with a while ago..he's my fav..he was roaring! I need to get a stuffed skunk, I have been improvising with other animals I do have!
Just thought I'd pass that on to you. Hope you're having a good day. Peace."

“Hi Dr. Gilbert,
I don’t know if you remember me. I’m the school librarian at an independent school in Manhattan, and I bought a copy of your book for my library.
I recently read it to a kindergarten class and they loved it. They sat absolutely still, completely focused, and followed the whole story. They clapped at the end, which they only do for stories they really like. I thought it might be a little too complicated a plot for them, I had it figured as a first grade book, but they really followed what was going on. So there’s a professional opinion for you. It’s definitely a keeper in my curriculum. Thanks very much, and congratulations.”

Hi Jeff,
Story magical and artwork gorgeus. I predict will be a “phenomenon.”
I have given books to 2 friends with little ones- one plans to bring to her son’s day care class since they are always doing good will projects and may order some books. Going for dinner to another friend’s house tonight who has 4 kids and will bring a few books. She is a teacher and hopefully will also share with her students.
Plan to order more- My friend Deb and Mom got the books and loved them- will send their reviews!

Your story was very touching and the art was excellent.
I enjoyed it a lot. When my book club comes for a meeting and lunch, the book will be on the table. Keep writing and have a happy holiday.

“Hi Jeff,
Your book is getting rave reviews from the recipients and their children. In fact, the daughter of my District Manager has him reading it to her every night at bedtime. I think he can recite it by heart now. Any news on its publication?”

From Sarah............
Dear Dr. Gilbert,
Thank you for the book. My mommy read it to me and I liked it a lot. I asked mommy if she would buy more books for my friends and she said yes. Please take care of Milton because he is a special skunk. I like skunks and it's OK that they smell sometimes :-)

Dr. Gilbert, I just wanted to let you know that both my sons loved Milton’s Moment. Camden (7) read it to Wesley (5) while in the car last Saturday. Wesley listened very intently. As we walked to the bakery, I asked them if they liked the story. They jumped up and down and practically screamed in my ear saying they loved it. No exaggeration! Camden now wants to be an author when he grows up. I asked them what they learned: Camden: You always have to be nice to everybody even if they scare you at first. Wesley: You always have to be nice to skunks.
Thanks again for the great book. April
